Interns will develop business plans, and P2A farm projects at our at the Miller Street Community Farm, Middletown community farm that provides veggies, eggs, and honey to local residents.
Pathways2Agriculture
Chicks Ahoy Farm's Pathways to Agriculture is a year-long internship to support high school students in their learning about agriculture & community organizing.
In 2024, we held our first Pathways to Agriculture (P2A). A cohort of high-school age youth interns who develop farming and business skills, practice community organizing, and lead workshops for youth.

P2A Interns work to connect underrepresented families and children to agriculture!
Together, the cohort will plan farming and food justice education workshops for young people across Middlesex and Greater Hartford County.
