Chicks Ahoy Farm Inc. was started with the mission to increase the number of women and BIPOC farmers in Connecticut. We are based in Bloomfield, with farm sites in Middlesex and Hartford counties. We are hiring for these positions!
The Policy Coordinator is the primary staff person for our Monthly Statewide Criminal Justice Reform Call, with responsibilities that include community outreach, legislative advocacy, and community organizing in coordination with Chicks Ahoy Farm’s Community Organizer.
The Chicks Ahoy Farm Coop 2 Kitchen (C2K) Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating our farmer-supported mutual aid project. C2K identifies women and BILPOC farmers and vendors who produce food and materials purchased by Chicks Ahoy Farm and distributed through our office and partner sites.
The Chicks Ahoy Farm Project Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day farm-related projects and programs, which may include farm planning, participant/volunteer engagement, crop management, educational activities, and coordination with community partners.
