Chicks Ahoy Farm, Inc is a Bloomfield-based nonprofit organization that aims to increase the number of underrepresented farmers in Connecticut, increase youth and families’ access to FACES (Farming, Agriculture, Conservation, and Environmental Stewardship), and organize to fix the state’s broken social safety net. Our organization has built a network of youth, families, seniors, and directly-impacted members across Hartford County and beyond. We are cultivating systemic change and community resilience. Our programs and organizing projects are deeply committed to fostering systemic change, driving impactful local direct action, and providing robust public education across Connecticut.

CoOp2Kitchen
Co-op2Kitchen is our farmer-supported mutual aid project helping people meet immediate needs around food and basic human needs by providing fresh produce, chicken eggs, and other items.
Farm Committee
The Farm Committee's program, FACES integrates our FLOC agribusiness onboarding and BLOC training to increase local support for Farming Agricutlture, Conservation, Enviorment, and Stewardship.
Pathways2Agriculture
Chicks Ahoy Farm's Pathways to Agriculture is a year-long internship to support high school students in their learning about agriculture & community organizing.
