EggUcation Workshop: How to Become a Farmer

How to Become a Farmer in Connecticut is an EggUcation workshop created by urban farmers and community leaders to help local people understand the requirements for becoming a farmer in the state while assisting aspiring farmers in establishing small-scale farming operations in their communities. These learning sessions, meetings, and events are facilitated by Lorenzo Jones, Owner of Chicks Ahoy LLC, and Diana Martinez, Owner of Dee’s Crafty Bees. This is a 4-hour session including a 30-minute lunch and short breaks throughout the afternoon.
