America ReFramed brings to life compelling stories, personal voices and experiences that illuminate the contours of our ever-changing country. Since 2012, the anthology series has premiered 170 films from more than 370 filmmakers - more than half were helmed by female filmmakers and a third are credited to BIPOC filmmakers. The series has centered the stories of the LGBTQ community, people with disabilities, the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated, veterans, seniors, immigrants and people from a myriad of backgrounds. Major funding for America ReFramed provided by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Wyncote Foundation, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Additional funding provided by Open Society Foundations, Acton Family Giving, Park Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and The Reva & David Logan Foundation.

Saturday, 9/27: Coop2Kitchen Middletown Mutual Aid Pop Up

Thank you for signing up to attend our next Coop2Kitchen Pop-Up in Middletown this Saturday, September 27th at 11:30am. We'll be meeting at the Universal Healthcare Foundation offices at 425 Main Street, 2nd floor in Middletown. If you're not sure where this building is, it's located between Esca Restaurant and Fujiya Ramen on Main Street. We'll have a table set up out front, too. You can park on the street or behind the building. The entrance to the parking lot is on the Washington Street side of the building next to Wells Fargo Bank.
Here's an idea of our schedule for Saturday:
11:30am- Pop-Up Begins
12pm- Sofrito Demonstration and Lunch
1pm- Policy 101 Workshop Begins!

Our CoOp2kitchen program provides real food purchased from Connecticut Farmers located in Manchester, Hartford, Middletown, and Meriden. C2K provides food and harm reduction supplies to families, seniors, and community members throughout Hartford, Middlesex, and New Haven Counties through our Pop Ups.
