Chicks Ahoy Farm's
Pathways to Agriculture is a year-long internship that will support 8-10 high school students in their learning about agriculture, agribusinesses, community organizing, and outreach.
This year, we are welcoming our first ever Pathways to Agriculture (P2A) cohort of 10 high-school age youth interns who will develop farming and business skills, practice community organizing, and lead workshops for youth across two counties.

Mission
P2A Interns work to connect underrepresented families and children to agriculture!
Together, the cohort will plan farming and food justice education workshops for young people across Middlesex and Greater Hartford County.
Vision
Interns will develop business plans, and P2A farm projects at our at the Miller Street Community Farm, Middletown community farm that provides veggies, eggs, and honey to local residents.
Together, we can train up a new generation of growers, land stewards, and community educators!
