The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is now the Greater Hartford Gives Foundation, because this is where the entire region comes together to give. Throughout our 100-year history as Greater Hartford’s community foundation, we’ve brought together residents with nonprofits to create change from the ground up. And we’re just getting started.
The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving held an Information Session on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 to share some of the grant opportunities that will be available to Greater Hartford nonprofits in 2025.

Keeping Basic Human Needs and Harm Reduction supplies on hand for families and retail store staff
Organizing a broad base of people to protect us all and work towards solutions to these problems in Connecticut
Our CoOp2kitchen program provides real food purchased from Connecticut Farmers located in Manchester, Hartford, Middletown, and Meriden. C2K provides food and harm reduction supplies to families, seniors, and community members throughout Hartford, Middlesex, and New Haven Counties through our Pop Ups.
